I am a modern quilter and clothlab's founder (2011), designing and producing my wares from a one hundred year old converted garage, located in the backyard of my East Vancouver home.

As is likely the case with most makers, creating and making things has always been a significant part of my being. And since learning to sew from my grandmother at the age of eight, many of my textile related curiosities have evolved to become lifelong passions. Over the past twenty years I have independently designed and produced several lines of clothing, handbags, home décor- and now, a collection of unique quilt explorations.

A self-professed 'Excel Nerd', I taught myself to utilize this tried and true computer program to help my right brain rough out new design ideas and also to refine these images into detailed sewing patterns. Working with vivid, clean, unorthodox colour combinations and bold graphics, my work has evolved to become an energetic, modern expression of an old tradition.

Precision and quality are also very important to me. All quilts and pillow covers from these collections are carefully cut and pieced by me personally, using top quality 100% cotton fabrics, batting, zippers and thread. Every item that I make is specially designed to inject colour and add impact to a room, while also providing usefulness and enjoyment.
